The Old Testament book of Isaiah has often been referred to as the “Fifth Gospel” for its many prophetic references to the coming Messiah, and his sacrificial death…centuries in the future.
It has also been said that nearly 30% of the Bible was written about events that were in the future. While skeptics have claimed that these writings were “post-dated” (written after the fact, based on history and not prophecy(, the Dead Sea Scrolls and other archaeological findings continue to support Scripture.
As the Bible says in Romans 3:4, “… let God be found true, though every man be found a liar…”
