Unusual post, directed to Christians (others of course are welcome)

Christian brother or sister, I hope you’ll join me on this one. Background:
About two five EIGHT years ago, for whatever reason (!), I began praying this:
“Lord, reveal the truth and lead us to it.
Expose the deception and deliver us from it.
Compel even the media to tell the truth.”
[I have since added more, such as “Hold the evil, wicked, and corrupt accountable; remove them from office, power, prestige, authority, and position. Raise up men and women of integrity — capable, competent, wise, discerning; understanding the times — who are committed to doing what is right in Your sight, Oh Lord, and restore common-sense rule-of-law.”]
Now, what has come about in 24 over 64 96 months? I have never seen so much deception, depravity, corruption, and flat-out unpatriotic, ungodly nonsense exposed.!!! And guess what? The mainstream media (MSM) that intentionally biases all their reporting (Trump coverage 91% negative as of last week and NOW the fake polls and everything else in October/November 2020 – now in 2021 we have seen an unprecedented news blanket over Hunter Biden’s laptop, the unprecedented crisis on our Southern border, and the international catastrophe of our Afghanistan pull-out. Predictably and finally, MSM ? Their ratings are plummeting.
Multiple legal and Constitutional scholars, even those who typically lean “left” (such as Alan Dershowitz) have strongly criticized the Biden Administration on the blatant “lawfare” of multiple bogus charges brought against Donald Trump since he announced he would again run in 2024. The beginnings of federal department weaponization we saw under the Obama administration (e.g., IRS) has now exploded to include DOJ, Homeland Security, FBI, and more.
There’s a bigger picture here; stay with me.
So, if we can vote out, impeach, and/or convict those who call “evil, good; and good, evil?” If they are removed (here’s another prayer) “…from office, power, prestige, authority, position, and influence?”
And if they are replaced with men and women of integrity, who “understand the times” and are both capable and wise?!
Wow!
Now, here’s the bigger picture. And for Christians, there’s always a bigger picture!
If Millennials and others come to realize that they’ve been “given the Kool-aide?”
Such things as:
- Fake news, documentaries, sound bites
- Fake science (evolution, sexual orientation by preference vs. XX or XY physiology, abortion is okay and “good,” etc.)
- Fake history (U.S. just like other countries, no miracle-of-God foundation, contrary to what was widely acknowledged by our Founding Fathers as God’s Providential intervention!)
- Fake government/economy (Socialism, Marxism, Communism good; Constitution and Capitalism evil)
- Most Hollywood, rap artists, sports pros (etc.) as good role models
If “the light comes on” and they realize the lies, deceit, and manipulation toward a purpose that is NOT in their best interests, or that of the U.S. and the world at large?
Then maybe intellectual honesty will drive them to SEEK truth. Real truth, not “situational ethics.” And away from other lies of our time: But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons…”
And this explicit scriptural warning: “…while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.”
Pray with me that the Holy Spirit will, indeed kindle such a fire, a desire for something real, something they can count on at all times, in all situations, to carry them through this life and beyond.
Pray that (yes!) they will find the truth of God’s Word, and the personal relationship they can have with our Creator through the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He’s the One who said, “ “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me...” He then verified/validated that truth by fulfilling the remaining prophecies of His first coming, including the historical fact of His resurrection!
We’ve prayed for a spiritual awakening. Do you see how this may be coming into place?
- Multitudes saved (we know that God is “…not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.” And that He “… desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”)…
- The church revived and anointed by God to be equipped to receive, love, and disciple these converts…
Yes, I believe the return of Christ is imminent. And I also believe that it’s possible that in the next few years, we could first see a last, glorious move of the Spirit, bringing to salvation all those who will come, for “…whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
Now, if you aren’t a Christian, or aren’t sure?
Look, you could be at 30,000 feet in a burning airplane that’s starting to fall apart.
Suddenly you remember that you’ve got a parachute! Great. If you don’t do something, you’re going to die.
You can be all emotional about how wonderful it is to have that parachute, and that you know how to use it. You can analyze the wind, altitudes, and drift to calculate how far the parachute can take you.
But? You’ll die. Unless you LEAVE THE DOOMED AIRPLANE (your good works, trying to save yourself) and TRUST (completely!) the parachute. Put it on. And jump.
Pray sincerely, like this, “Lord Jesus, have mercy on me. I realize that I fall short, I sin, I can never be good enough for You to receive me into heaven. I believe that You came to earth to die in my place, to pay for my sins, and to offer me peace with God and eternal life. By faith I humbly receive Your gift, and thank You. Come into my life, save me, live in and through me. Make me the person you would have me to be.”
