Why do we call it “Good” Friday?
The only Man with no sin of His own, was betrayed, arrested, convicted at a mock trial by jealous and angry hypocrites, brutally beaten, tortured, abandoned, shamed, and killed.
Good?
Only for those who receive the gift that He paid so much to offer. A gift can be offered. But it must be received. Jesus explained it Himself in John 3:16 (also read previous and following verses if you haven’t in a while).
